Ok, so theres this little snaffu in my plans for WAR.
Ive got the new machine in, and its pretty nice.
P4 Dual core at 2.5/2.5 with 2 gigs of RAM.
I think to myself, "Fucking sweet"
I check out the graphics card.
Nothing.
Ive got on-board graphics and wont run a stress test.
So I have to pick up a v-card before I can grab the game, but Im getting soooooooo much closer!!!!
I have to go rob a corner store real quick, bbl.

Ok, so heres the deal.
After hours of screaming and swearing, ok more like 3 minutes, Im reporting in.
Yes, I probably wont be playing WAR for awhile. The machine I got is great, but likely not run WAR on the intergrated graphics card.
But its a pre-built computer, so the mobo has no socket for a video card, as ive seen. Unless I completely missed something.
So yes, I will be still be saving up for a new machine for gaming.
It could take awhile 8(.
So until then Ill be popping in and out of vent every so often, but Im still planning on picking up a second job, so thatll make life quicker. Or something.

I bet it would run just fine Shyn. A Dual Core 2.5 GHz is a very nice processor, and I bet your integrated graphics could handle the game better than some others who are playing in the guild right now.

I honestly dont know :/. After i saw there was no slot I could use for a video card i tried installing Oblivion to see if it could run. The install went fine, but I couldnt acctually run it because Oblivion checks for a hardware/software option used by your video card. Since my intergrated specs dont support what it was looking for, I couldnt run it.
But Ill probably end up getting WAR in a week or two to see if itll at least run.
Theres no telling.

have to keep in mind that oblivion is a lot more graphically intense. Warhammer will probably let you launch the game with just onboard, I'd assume.

Ya Id hope that Warhammer could run if Oblivion could, but the problem is, I was going to base it off of how it ran Oblivion. Which wouldnt run bc of the hardware check.
So I have to figure out something to try and run and see what I can do with this lump of metal.
But in any case, I wont be able to get the game until the 7th at earliest, stupid forever between paydays.
