My BSOD Error

Post by Jax » Sat May 02, 2009 1:10 am

This is what I got when the BSOD showed up during LOTRO both times:

A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated timer interval.

***STOP: 0x00000101 (0x0000000000000061, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFFA60005EC180, 0x00000000000000001)

Suggestions? I'm trying to research this myself but I don't understand a lot of the techie jargon.

Update on my stupid computer:

My friend Joey said that he's gotten this error before when his heatsink was dying, so when I get home next week he's going to come up and clean it for me and see if that fixes it before I buy a new one. So until then, no LOTRO for me. Sigh...

I'm changing my title to Worst Luck Ever with Video Games.

=[. Poor Jackie. I hope that that's the problem and you don't have to figure out what it is.

I fail at life when it comes to video games.

I also hope that's the problem. We'll see. I'll be home next Wednesday, so hopefully Thursday or Friday he can come and check stuff out.
